Frequently asked questions

What counts as an evaluation?

Each time your application calls evaluate() counts as one evaluation. Cached evaluations within the same request do not count.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Is there a free trial for Pro?

Yes, all new accounts get a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan, no credit card required. Starting the trial during 2026 claims the $49 price.

What happens to my $49 on January 1, 2027?

Nothing. The 2026 price is attached to your subscription, not to the calendar. Keep the subscription active and you keep paying $49 while list price moves to $89 for everyone signing up after December 31, 2026. Cancel and come back later and you'll rejoin at whatever list is then.

Why raise the price at all?

$49 was the number we picked before we had a single customer. The independent penetration test that every serious inbound asks for costs $15–25k from a boutique firm, and that is one line item on a list that also has SOC 2 and an on-call rota on it. Raising list once, in public, with a date on it beats quietly inventing a "custom plan" for each new account.

What happens if I exceed my evaluation limit?

We'll send you a warning email. Your flags will continue evaluating, we never block traffic. Overages are billed at $0.01 per 10,000 additional evaluations.
